Pangea Organics – All that and a box of basil!
Boy do I love Pangea Organics for more than a few reasons. One of the coolest attributes of Pangea Organics is that their packaging for their products is actually plantable. I think this is pure genius – a perfect incentive to recycle, it’s fun and it makes me feel like a kid again (kind of like the adult, ecological version of finding a toy in the cereal box, except it is the box). If you soak the box for one minute and plant it in 1″ deep soil, you’ll have edible sweet basil in just a few weeks! Don’t even get me started about how much I love basil!
Another thing I love about this company, which is also true for many of the vegan companies featured on my website is that their products never contain petroleum, sulfates or detergents, synthetic preservatives, artificial colors or fragrances or GMOs.
Pangea Organics products are always nurturing, handcrafted, organic, fair trade (when possible) and cruelty-free!
One of my favorite Pangea Organics products is the Egyptian Geranium with Adzuki Bean & Cranberry Facial Scrub which is pretty gentle for a scrub (which I definitely prefer). Some scrubs on the market not only remove dead skin cells but leave your face feeling raw. This scrub, however, has just the right amount of exfoliating power and it does an excellent job at moisturizing and hydrating at the same time.
Another Pangea Organics gem is their Japanese Matcha Tea with Acai & Goji Berry Facial Mask. This is my type of mask… just as much as it is my favorite type of smoothie. 🙂 This super blend of antioxidants and anti-aging goodness is exactly what I look for when I’m in the mood to revitalize. Just leave it on your face and neck for 10-30 minutes and prepare for a deep cleansing, exfoliating, toning, moisturizing, age defying experience!
Both of these products go for about $30.
