Anti-Aging Beauty Rave: B’Tyli
Face wrinkles = I DON’T THINK SO. I’m vain, and I don’t care—word up, Honey Badger! I’m so cray about lookin’ like a fresh young Kokosnuss that I even rock face yoga. Dude, face yoga! Mhm. And you better believe I own almost every vegan anti-aging wrinkle cream known to (wo)man.
Some of my fave time-machine-in-a-bottle beauty ish is from an all-natural, organic, and vegan skincare line called B’Tyli Natural Skin Therapies. One word: D.I.V.I.N.E.
Check it!
Body Soufflé, $38 – Shea, olive butter and essential oils (it smells especially lavender-y) make this light, creamy, quick-absorbing, non-greasy whipped jar of ooh-la-la über hydrating. My #1 anti-aging beauty tip (listen up, fools!) is to moisturize morning and night (even more frequently if you can)… and slather it on like you’re icing a cake! 😉 Seriously though, that, and drink tons of agua. H2O, betch!
Rooibos Eye Cream, $32 – Rooibos tea is high in antioxidants (i.e. wrinkle fightin’ mojo), and as an aside, it’s the tasTEAest tea on the planet. Mmm, I could go for a cup right now. This gentle and rich crème contains hyaluronic acid, lavender, blue green algae (dude, pond scum is magical… and delicious in spirulina form, too!), calendula, rooibos, pomegranate extract, and evening primrose. It’s fancy, and sooooo worth the $.
Multi-Tea Cleanser, $35 – This creamy cleanser is infused with rooibos, green and white teas, herbs, minerals, and vitamins. It feels and smells wunderbar! And I love the creamy formula – it’s perfect for my thirsty-ass, dry skin.
Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum, $65 – Until the 1990s the only method of producing hyaluronic acid was extracting it from rooster combs. Okay, ew. But thanks to modern science, hyaluronic acid can be derived from fermented yeast. Yay, another reason to ♥ yeast (except the downtown variety, which I’m blessed to have never experienced…. but i do love nutritional yeast, NA beer, fluffy donuts, bread, etc.). HA is excellent for hydration, firmness, and pore shrinkage (and it really works!). Amen!
