Cruelty-Free Fashion Rave: Juil Vegan Sandals
This weekend I did something you’re never supposed to do… I broke in a new pair of shoes (Juil’s Gaia sandals, $59) while on vacay(!!!). *GASP* I’m not typically one to take risks, especially when potential discomfort and pain are involved, but I kind of had a hunch these shoesie-woosies were gonna be comfy – they just had a make-my-feet-happy look about them. And it turns out, I was right (thank bejeezus, ’cause I did a LOT of walkin’ while on holiday)! ←That’s me, pretending to be British. 😉
Why I mega *heart* my new Juil flippies:
- These eco, vegan flip flops are chic and hella cozy
- They are vegetable-dyed
- The copper dots where the toesies and heel go allow you to maintain a connection with the surface of the Earth, without going barefoot. *mind blown* What a cool and unique concept!
- They offer free shipping and returns
Only slight bummer is that they don’t carry half sizes. I’m typically a shoe size 7.5, but I got this pair in size 7. They actually fit quite nicely, though. 🙂
Which vegan sandals will you be rockin’ this summer?
Sandals were sent for consideration.
