Alaffia: Clean Yourself Consciously!
I love a multi-purpose soap. It makes life just a wee bit easier. Alaffia makes a most delicious all-in-one soap that serves as a shampoo, body wash, face wash, hand wash, whatever you want to wash! I’ve been using it on my 4-year-old in the bath, and lawd knows he always needs a good wash.
Alaffia’s African Black Soap, is made by extensively “cooking” the soap to the point of charcoal, a known detoxifier. I remember in my vet tech days, we would give activated charcoal to animals who had ingested something toxic (the charcoal interferes with the body’s ability to absorb certain molecules). I’m positive it saved a few counter-surfing pooches. 🙂 Anyway, I love the idea of something blocking the crud from getting in! I’ve been using Tangerine Citrus soap and it is wonderful. It smells great, is very affordable and the company is doing awesome work with women.
