I Heart Instacart!
So, in case you missed my post from earlier this week, I gave birth to a lil’ bambino this past Saturday! Needless to say, I haven’t felt inclined to leave the house… yet. So what’s a gal to do when she’s craving vegan pizza, kombucha, and marshmallows errrday (yep, those pregnancy cravings linger)? Instacart!
Instacart is a same-day grocery delivery service that brings you food from some of your favorite grocery stores in as little as one hour. In my neck of the woods (Oakland, CA), they’ve partnered with Whole Foods, Safeway, Costco, Berkeley Bowl, and petco. I’m expecting this list will eventually explode with many, many more options. Fave part, you can search for vegan/organic/non-dairy/etc. food items from each store, and in the process, discover foods you’ve never even tried before.
They also have amazing customer service. The other day, we received an order from Whole Foods in which they accidentally gave us alcoholic kombucha (eeps!) instead of the NA version, and they totally brought us the correct flavor FAST – was super impressed (and they let us keep the other bottles, too)!
