April 2015 BuddhiBox Review
Guess what time it is! It’s time to dish on all the sweet goodies from this month’s BuddhiBox! New to BB? It’s catered to peeps who enjoy yoga, healthy living, and mindfulness. This subscription box is set up so that eachmonth you’ll receive 4-6 thoughtfully curated products (samples and full sized items) from ethically-sourced and socially conscious companies. BuddhiBox also chooses a charity to donate proceeds to each month.
There are different subscription options that vary in price and get cheaper with duration, but the low commitment month-to-month option is $30.95/month (this month’s box is valued ~$50 btw). The sample size is $11.95/month.
This month’s goodie box, which I’ll delve into in just a bit, also came with a BuddhiBox info card with a girl power quote by Elena Browner on the back, a recipe for Blueberry Bliss Goddess Bars, and an instructional card for Goddess Pose… love these cute lil’ extras!
April’s BuddhiBox included:
Toesox Knee High Socks* – Hello, cozy toesies! I’ve been rockin toed socks since high school, and I ♥♥♥ ’em! This particular colorful, stripy, organic cotton pair is especially cute (complete with no-slip grip, perfect for yoga and dancing) – can’t wait to rock these with some boots, too!
prAna Organic Headband – prAna clothes and accessories are suuuuper cozy and just yummy! I have a Prana coat that I absolutely adore (makes me look forward to fall). Anywho, this organic headband is stretchy, lightweight, and kicks ass at keeping sweat and hair off the face – great for workouts… and facials. 😉
My Mat My Mantra Mat Sticker – This is a brilliant idea! Not only does this sticker have an inspirational matra, but it’ll help you identify your yoga mat in class. Of course, you don’t have to use it on your yoga mat; it would be great for any place you find yourself seeking solace.
Stinky Yogi Pranayama {breathe] Essential Oil* – Stinky Yogi – LOVE that name! This right here is minty magic! It’s an invigorating and uplifting blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, and lemon essential oils (my personal dream blend). It really clears the nostrils and makes you feel ALIVE. You can inhale it straight from the bottle, use it in a diffuser, or blend it in bath water.
Yogi Tea in Skin DeTox and Cinnamon Vanilla Healthy Skin – I’m all about Yogi tea. Not only do they create delicious blends, but each tea bag comes with a mantra/advice/fortune/tidbit of wisdom (often very Instagram worthy). 😉 I love that these two samples are specifically for healthy skin. It’s BeauTEA. Get it? Har har. 😉
Amazing Grass Green Superfood Lemon Coconut Bar and Amazing Grass Amazing Meal Original Packet (not pictured, as I don’t think I received this item) – I’m a big fan of this brand. They make pretty awesome meal replacement packets that are loaded with superfoods and nutrients. Just to give y’all a heads up, this nutritional bar tastes very… how do I say in English?… nutritional. Don’t dive in expecting a sugary candy bar sensation. It’s good, but very much in a “I know it’s good for me” kind of way. If you’re not crazy bout drinking meal replacement shakes, this is a great alternative.
I definitely recommend giving BuddhiBox a try. It would make a great gift for a friend, loved one, or yourself! Pssst – Mother’s Day is right around the corner!
