July’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included 5 vegan goodies (2 full-size):
Pacifica Super Powder Eye Shadow Trio* (full-size) – These cream-to-powder shadows are shimmery and fun (swatched on fingers)! They’re subtle yet buildable and are infused with argan oil, vitamin e and a bunch of other 100% natural, skin-loving ingredients.
Everclen Facial Cleanser – This gentle cream cleanser is formulated for those with sensitive skin. It doesn’t contain any fragrance, parabens, gluten, phyhalates, petroleum, colors, DEA’s or sodium lauryl sulfate, which is rad, but it does contain a few suspect ingredients (ammonium laureth sulfate, PEG-150 distearate, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, phenoxyethanol)… hey, I’m not a purest, but it’s worth noting. I have used it a few times, and I like how it applies sort of like a lotion and washes off easily.
The Wonder Seed Spring Lavender Hand Cream* – I already luuuurve this company! Props to VC for choosing so many wonderful vegan-friendly beauty brands that kick ass. This greaseless hand cream (featuring rockstar ingredient hemp seed oil) absorbs quickly, makes my hands feel silky smooth, and has an intoxicating sexy scent. It smells like lavender with cologne-y type undertones.
Bedrock & Bloom Smart Ash Teeth Whitener – If you’re not familiar with activated charcoal teeth cleansers & whiteners (which I am and I’m a HUGE fan), you might be a bit thrown off by this. It’s basically black powder (coconut charcoal a.k.a. magic – in my book) that you use to brush your teeth. Yes, it’s a bit messy (def open up this container over the sink), and yes, it’s doesn’t produce sudsy mountains of foam, but it is 100% natural, fluoride-free, non-gmo, vegan, and cruelty free (and like I said earlier, it’s magical). This unassuming powder has the power to whiten teeth, remove plaque, and rid your mouth of bacteria – all without harsh chemicals… or even non-harsh chemicals for that matter (let’s get back to nature, betches!). Lately, I’ve been dabbing the teensiet bit of toothpaste on my brush (using it sort of like an adhesive) and then going to town with the powder.
Osea Atmosphere Protection Cream* – Osea is, hands down, my favorite 100% vegan skincare company right now. Their products are HELLA effective (their Eyes & Lips cream is my all-time fave beauty product EVAH) and they’re made with the absolute purest from-the earth & sea ingredients. This lightweight & non-greasy moisturizer feels SO friggin good on the skin. It absorbs effortlessly and leaves a matte, silky finish (perfect base for makeup application).
Peep these top-notch, all-natural ingredients: Aqua, *Algae Extract, Coco Caprylate/Caprate (Vegetable Glycerides), Macadamia Seed Oil, Sorbitan Olivate (Emulsifier from Olive Oil), Corn & Coconut Glucolipid, Shea Butter, *Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E, Calendula Extract, L-Lysine Lauroyl Methionine (Amino Acid from Plants), Xanthan Gum, *Laminaria Algae Extract, Ginkgo Bilbao Leaf Extract, *Matricaria Flower Extract, *Lavender Oil, Geranium, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate (Natural Smectite Clay), *Grapefruit Peel Oil, Potassium Sorbate, Glycine *organic
Seriously, this is a brand that I will continue to purchase over and over and over and over again – their stuff yields actual results (i.e. improved tone and texture, fewer lines and wrinkles, mega moisture skin infusions – love love love)! ←And I don’t say that lightly.
