3 Kickass Vegan Face Masks That You NEED in Your Life
Every single week, I make it a point to pamper myself with some sort of at-home spa-sy treat. My beauty treat of choice usually includes a detoxy/skin clearing face mask (along with a bubbly kombucha, some sweet ’40s fa-la-la sing-songy action – satellite radio-style, and maybe some fresh fruit… ha, or more like a whole bag of vegan marshmallows). ← Whatever, I’m all about maximum treatage! 😉
Lovely Vegan Face Masks in Current Rotation Include:
Acure Cell Stimulating Facial Mask, $12.99 – I’ve been obsessed with this face mask for YEARS. The ingredients are pure, the price is right, and it contains Moroccan Argan Stem Cells and Chlorella Growth Factor, which are fancy plant-based science-y things that HAVE to work, right? I mean, c’mon. It’s also made with French Green Clay (and ingredient I worship) which draws out impurities, as well as CoQ10 and Seabuckthorn Oil, both of which infuse moisture into your skin and fight wrinkles.
Indie Lee Clearing Mask, $60 – Indie Lee can do no wrong. All of her products are insanely clean and crazy-hella HELLA effective. If you have temperamental, hormonal, bitchy skin that likes to freak the fcuk out, dis mask is for you. It’s a teensy $pency, but dang, it’s worth evvvery penny. It detoxes, unclogs pores (buh-bye zits!), kicks dead skin cells to the curb, and protects and nourishes your skin.
derma e Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask, $19.50 – This mask is brand spankin’ new and it’s MAGICAL. It’s made with natural clays infused with Kimarine Wakame (seaweed), Bladerwrack (another type of seaweed with killer water-binding properties), and Activated Charcoal (my new favorite skincare ingredient, known for absorbing 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities). Pair these badass ingredients with some Apricot Seed Powder to exfoliate, and BAM – detoxy action to the nth degree. I also love that this mask applies smoothly, dries super quickly, and rinses off effortlessly (time saver) – more than any other mask I’ve ever tried. Ever.
Which vegan & cruelty-free face masks are you currently gaga over?
