Earthbody Sacred Skincare Review
Happy fall, beauty bunnies! In the spirit of seasonal change, I have decided to take my crazy hectic life (writing, writing, meeting deadlines, kids, kids, kids, packing, unpacking, cleaning – movin’ to another state is no joke!) down a notch. Finding time to breathe, relax, and stay focused has been nearly impossible. Sometimes I even feel like I’m on the verge of a panic attack.
When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I almost always reach for my essential oils (especially lavender, chamomile, orange, and peppermint). Sometimes I opt for sophisticated blends that are designed to multitask like Earthbody Sacred Skincare‘s Ayurvedic body oils. Their formulas are prepared to “invoke mind, awaken the heart, and balance the body.” Yasssssssss to ALL if that.
My fave Earthbody blends:
Dream Body Oil, $12 – When I lie down at night to go sleepies, my mind often reels and races, and I wind up falling asleep 1-2 hours later! I honestly don’t have the patience to count sheep or meditate while in bed (I know, I need to work on that ish), but I DO have time to inhale a bit of DREAM. I know it’s a body oil, but I like to pump a few quirts (eeks, I don’t like the way that reads, oh well, *honey badger moment*) in my palms, rub them together, cup my hands and deeply inhale… very much like this. Dream is designed to enhance mental clarity, encourage possibility, calm, and support rest thanks to frankincense, lavender, and sandalwood essential oils. And because it’s a body oil, it guarantees some love in the moisture/hydration department with rockstar ingredients jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed, and rosehip seed oils.
Ground Body Oil, $12 – I feel like I’ve been needing this my whole life. I perpetually feel awkward in social situations, I have a hard time adapting to change, and I’m überly sentimental. This special blend is indeed grounding – they totally nailed it. It contains schisandra berry which is designed to supports daily agility and adaptability and vetiver, cedarwood, and balsam peru which are supposed to help “bring you home.” Seriously how cool are these body oils?
Overall impression: I’ve found these blends to be unique, thoughtfully prepared, and effective. And honestly, even if they weren’t, they smell SO good! I think the price point is fair, I like the packaging (I always prefer glass jars over plastic), and their entire line of products is cruelty-free and vegan.
What are some of your favorite essential oil blends?
