5 Swoon-Worthy Vegan Winter Coats
Chilly weather is upon us, y’all, and it’s time to drop mad cheddah on a fly winter coat STAT (don’t wait until January – your buns will be frozen and pickin’s will be slim!). And just because you’re vegan, it doesn’t mean you have to sport a burlap hemp sack. NnnNnn (insert finger swayin’ emoji). Staying stylish, cruelty-free, and warm don’t have to be mutually exclusive. We vegans have a TON of animal-friendly (wool-free and down-free) winter coat options to choose from (seriously, it was hard to narrow my list down to 5!) – so there’s no excuse to not look über cuddly, cute, and warm this winter.

Vaute Couture’s The ALICIA, $298 – This gorgeous pea coat has mega high tech warmth. It’s insulated with Primaloft ECO and lined in windproof ripstop. All the materials are 100% vegan and made of recycled fibers crafted in the USA. Um, how adorbs is this model?! ↓
BB Dakota Cecil Plush Tie Waist Coat, $55 – This cute plush coat is made from 100% polyester and is a comfortable fit. It features a tie waist to accentuate the natural curves of the body (a.k.a. lovely lady lumps, yeah I got some). It also has a standing collar to keep your neck warm, a hidden zipper under the front placket. and flap pockets at the hips. This coat is sleek and easy on the wallet.
HoodLamb’s Long Ladies Coat, $368 – I want this coat SO f’ing badly (saving up mad duckets for this beaut!) It’s slim fitting yet flattering on curves, and it offers mid-thigh length warmth, a removable hood, a SatifurTM lined collar, and adjustable straps on back. MAMA WANTS!
Columbia Women’s Lush Plush Jacket, $130 – This Omni-Heat thermal reflective lined fleece coat is no joke. I keep putting this in my Amazon cart and then taking out because I have commitment issues (with clothes, not people). 😉 It has amazing reviews and it keeps your body heat locked in, not letting any cold-ass air penetrate yo’ threads. Cool lil’ bonus – it has thumb holes! Big fan!
ModCloth Liberal Arts Cottage Coat, $230 – This coat is adorbs! It’s not the warmest of the batch but is has SO much character! It has a rose-printed navy exterior with pockets and gingery faux fur trim. Shell: 97% Cotton, 3% Spandex. Lining: 100% Polyester.
