December 2015 Sacred Celebration Sapphire Soul Box Review + Coupons
Remember when I introduced y’all to Sapphire Soul a couple months and I was flipping out over all the divine, gorgeous goddess goodies (A+++ for alliteration)? Well, December’s box is packed with even MORE awesome mystical ish (is that even possible?!?). If you’re new to Sapphire Soul, it’s a mindful and spiritual subscription box that focuses on nourishing your body-mind-soul connection. Yes, this box is a bit new age-y, spiritual, hippie-esque, and I’m beyond mega hardcore into it!
Each month Sapphire Soul has a theme which reflects the goodies inside (crystals, energy medicine, crystal healing jewelry, essential oils, teas, candles, etc.), and December’s Sacred Celebration box includes items you can use to help feel grateful, inspired, and connected this holiday season.

Dive in Deck conversation cards ($20 value) – Ooh, these are SO fun! This isn’t your typical motivational deck. It’s a colorful set of cards with funky artwork and thought-provoking and sincere questions and sentiments inviting you to have a deep and meaningful connection with yourself. It’s like carrying a therapist in your pocket. An example of one of the questions this deck offers: “How might you fall more deeply in love with yourself?” Go ahead, answer it. 😉
Sapphire Soul gem-infused Sacred Celebration essential oil blend – I LOVE Sapphire Soul’s essential oil blends. SS HBIC, Allison, handcrafts these beautiful gem-infused EO blends that are balancing and mood enhancing… and they smell wonderful! This one is comprised of holiday scents such as cinnamon, sacred frankincense, balsam and it’s infused with golden pyrite and citrine.
Swift-Lite Charcoal – I had to Google this product because I had no idea what it was. From Swift-Lite’s website: “The fast lighting hookah charcoal from Swift-Lite is a smokeless and odourless product originally designed for religious Incense burning. The product was re-developed and has now become a major global brand for Shisha pipe smoking.” I’m intrigued. Since I don’t smoke pipes of any sort, I’ll most likely give this a go with some incense burning. I’m such a dork, though – I’ll probably have to look up a YouTube tutorial on how to use these. 😉
Chakredy Vibrational Remedies – Abundance ($28 value) – Ok, before I go on… this box is already BLOWING my mind. Y’all, these are sea salt crystals with healing frequencies for the root chakra – say what?!? I feel like I’ve opened a secret vault to health and happiness. I’ve never heard of most of these products before, and I’m super giddy to discover them now.
From Chakredy’s website: “Ingest one small pinch of salt crystals. Place directly on tongue. Take twice per day or as directed by your practitioner. Remedies contain the single base ingredient of unrefined, hand harvested sea salt crystals. The salt crystals are imprinted with the chakra or organ specific healing frequencies. Remedy vials can be worn like a gemstone to enhance the biofield and support increased holding of energetic shifts.” I’m a salt fiend, so I’m more than happy to put this magic salt in mah mouth. The chakra oomph is just a bonus. 😉
Pyrite – I love how SS includes healing gemstones with info cards in their boxes. How pretty is this pyrite a.k.a. “fool’s gold”? It’s a stone of intellect, protection, and grounding. It also brings luck and courage.
Himalayan Salt – Did you know that salt is used in many cultures for protection and can be placed around the home for purification, cleansing, and dispelling negativity? It can also increase energy levels and support hormone balance… who knew! I love learning these fun tidbits. Btw, I DID lick this rock… by impulse. And it was good. 😉
Yoga Joes ($3.25 value) – OMG. Peep these lil’ zen Army yoga dudes – how friggin’ adorbs!! I believe they’re rockin’ downward-facing dog and child’s pose. These are going to look super quirky and cute in my home office… until my toddler snatches ’em. 😉
Golden Ritual Candle – I made sure to take this pic in the sunlight so you could see it in all of its gilded beauty. I’m not sure how this candle is intended to be used or whether or not it’s scented (couldn’t find anything about it online), but I’m a big fan of gazing at it.
Coconut Lemongrass essential oil lip balm ($4 value) – Dang, this lip balm smells yummy! I’m looking forward to giving it a test run.
Wrist Sari with Sankofa charm ($35 value) – This unique sari wrap bracelet features the Sankofa symbol which, in the Akan language of Ghana, translates to “reach back and get it.” This is a gentle reminder to grow and learn from our past experiences. It’s a stunning piece of jewelry and it really pops on bare skin. Gah – my arms are so freckly!
“Talk to the Hamsa” flowy tank ($34 value) – This is an incredibly soft and cozy tee. It’s flattering, too (totally conceals my stubborn baby weight). And can we take a quick sec to talk about how fun and cute it is? I have the matching mug, and I think it’s a hoot.
Frankincense, Myrhh, Gold Resin Incense – I honestly had no idea what these were when I first saw them. I thought maaaybe they were additional tiny Himalayan salt nuggets (guilty of licking these, too, but immediately deducted they were NOT in the salt family)… I really need to stop licking things. I think I picked up this habit from my 10-month-old. 😉 Anyhoo, Allison sent me a sweet note letting me know that you light the charcoal briquettes (Swift-Lite) and then light the resin to burn the incense. Now that I know, I’m super excited to get this festive incense going!
Aventurine necklace – This beautiful necklace features aventurine, a gemstone said to attract abundance and good luck. It’s also known to help one move forward and embrace change. There’s actually quite of bit of change going down at VBR headquarters so this necklace found me at the perfect time – thanks, SS! ♥
BuddhaTea Crown Chakra tea sample – I’ve been receiving BuddhaTea samples left and right and have been lovin’ them all. I’m a HUGE tea drinker and I’ve seriously gotten into chakra everything lately, so I’m diggin’ these.

Overall impression: This box has insane value – ~$175 worth of goodies (my guesstimated math because not all of these items had retail prices included)! Unlike beauty boxes which I’m well versed in, this box is packed with unfamiliar but highly welcome healing and inspirational goodies that excite and teach me new things. Allison, the creator of SS is such a doll, too. These boxes are so thoughtful and genuine because she pours her heart and soul into each one and they truly reflect her spiritual nature.
