Goddess Provisions April 2016 Box Review
Have y’all checked out Goddess Provisions, a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps at Vegan Cuts? It especially speaks to my heart because it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… I’ve been all about mystical, mindful, and spiritual enhancing goodies lately, so this box is everything!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-6 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
April’s Goddess Provisions “Free Spirit” box included 5 full-size items:
Amethyst Cluster (some subscribers received a fluorite wand), $11 – OMG, I love this beautiful hunk of purple crystals so HARD! Amethyst is known as the great crystal of protection, and it promotes peace and tranquility while uplifting your vibrational energy. This happily lives in my “Positive Vibes Only Zone” a.k.a. my office. Energy and cleansing properties aside, it’s simply gorgeous to look at. I’m actually shocked that this eye-catching amethyst cluster isn’t valued at way more than $11.
Pixie Mood Card Holder, $18 – Ok, how adorbs!! Pixie Mood seriously has a bomb selection of vegan handbags and accessories, and when I caught wind that these cuties were gonna be in April’s Goddess Provisions box, I got really excited! I’m stoked I got the lace print because I’ve kind of had my eye on this one. It’s made with cork and faux leather and it has 5 card slots total. It’s pretty perfect.
Good Medicine Beauty Lab “Free” Botanical Perfume, $19 – If you’re a vanilla lover like myself, you’re gonna fall madly deeply in love with this grounding and romantic/sexy perfume. The scent combines 100% pure essential oils and attars from rich vanilla, blonde tobacco, rosewood, cinnamon, and ginger. I have quite the collection of vanilla perfumes, and I gotta say, I think this one may be the edgiest. It’s got a spicy, woodsy kick that I’m kind of obsessed with.
Eye of Horus Cosmetics Eyeliner, $30 – This beauty brand bases their makeup on ancient sacred formula – how cool is that?! This liquid liner gives a smooth, gorgeous and precise black line, and it’s waterproof and long-wearing (it really is!). I love that it has a felt tip, too – it’s my preferred type of liner application (’cause I’m still such a newb at cat eye wingies). I don’t know where this liner has been all my life!
Laughing Giraffe Organics Matcha Snackaroons, $8 – First off, love the name of this company! 🙂 Secondly, matcha anything = yes, please! Matcha is loaded with antioxidants and has a slew of health benefits. Btw, these yummy coconut macaroons are RAW, so no need to feel guilty gettin’ your nom-nom on.
Overall impression: Of the 3 Goddess Provisions boxes I’ve reviewed on VBR, this one is hands-down my fave. Every single item is absolutely perfect and will get used 100%, which is super rare to say with any subscription box. I’m already rockin’ the card holder in my purse; 5 matcha macaroons are already partying down in mah belleh; my amethyst is sitting in my office next to my other treasured healing gemstones; the vanilla perfume is in current rotation of Sunny smellies, and the eyeliner is slated for an upcoming Selfie Sunday. 😉 The total value of this box is $86, which is REDONK! I’m definitely going to buy a few of these for my girlfriends so they can feel all goddessy ‘n’ ish, too!
