Visit the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Amnesty International Canada sites to put pressure on your elected officials. The IRC’s page has lots of action information to ensure that President Obama admits the 10,000 refugees he committed to in September 2015. In Canada, Amnesty International will ask Prime Minister Trudeau and the Immigration Minister to fully fund the settlement of the 25,000 Syrian refugees and continue to find ways that will help support the ongoing humanitarian needs.
