LVX Natural Nail Color Remover Review
Mainstream nail polish removers are loaded with chemicals and typically smell like sheeeit, am I right? Yes, I am. There are actually some lovely non-toxic nail polish removers that we vegans can choose from nowadays, but I gotta take a sec to rave about one of the new kids on the block: LVX’s Natural Nail Color Remover Pads ($20). They’re brand spankin’ new and they’re absolutely lovely (LVX can do no wrong in my book). They’re acetone-free, plant-based, biodegradable, vitamin-enriched (A, C, & E), soaked in nourishing jojoba oil, AND they’re odorless!! Well, they say odorless, but I feel like they have a really subtle and pleasant citrus-y scent. Anybody else?
Ingredients: Dimethyl Glutarate, Dimethyl Adipate, Soybean methyl esters, Pure Jojoba Oil, Vitamins A, C & E
LVX’s Natural Nail Color Remover Pads come in a box of 12, and y’all *one* pad can remove polish on both hands and feet with a little extra to spare. They even do a pretty all right job at removing glitter polish, too – just make sure to let the pad sit on your nail bed a bit longer before rubbing off. Oh, and this goes without saying, but these are great for travel, your gym bag, purse, etc.
These are probably my current fave nail polish remover wipes (was perviously obsessed with the ones by Gabriel Cosmetics, but they are waaaaaay smaller than these and aren’t textured). The only downside is that the ones by LVX are a bit on the spensy side. I would consider these splurge-worthy, though, especially if you have a preference for non-toxic formulas (also super duper great for expecting moms, kiddos, and those with sensitive skin).
Which cruelty-free nail polish remover are you using right now?
