BuddhiBox Yoga Subscription Box June 2016 Review
It’s BuddhiBox unboxing day! This is one of my all-time fave monthly subby boxes, and this month’s goodie haul is AMAZE! New to BB? It’s catered to peeps who enjoy yoga, healthy living, and mindfulness. This subscription box is set up so that each month you’ll receive 4-6 thoughtfully curated products (samples and full sized items) from ethically-sourced and socially conscious companies. BuddhiBox also chooses a charity to donate proceeds to each month.
There are different subscription options that vary in price and get cheaper with duration, but the low commitment month-to-month option is $32.95/month. Btw, you can peep my past BuddhiBox reviews here.
This month’s goodie box, which I’ll delve into in just a bit, also came with a BuddhiBox info card with an inspirational Kate Forsyth quote on the back, a recipe for breakfast quinoa, and an instructional Yogicard card for the pose Ardha Pincha Mayurasana a.k.a. Dolphin Pose – love saving these cute lil’ extras!
June’s BuddhiBox included:
GLOW for a cause Solid Perfume in Dream, $18 – Whoa, this is my third subscription box sample of GLOW solid perfume! The scent Dream has “a modern and urban feel of an exuberant bouquet of flowers with a warm woody base.” It’s soft and romantic with a chic edge. I think it smells lovely and I’m all about solid perfumes lately because I can just throw ’em in my purse and use throughout the day for a quick pick-me-up.
BuddhiBox Yoga Hand Towel,* $15 – This highly absorbent hand towel features the BuddhiBox mandala which I absolutely love! This is the perfect workout companion (the fabric is soft, cozy, and hella sweat sopping), especially if you’re a sweaty beast like I am, lol. 😉
Tribe Tats Metallic Yoga Collection,* $10 – These yoga-inspired metallic tats are everything! They feature chakras, mandalas, om symbols and lotus flowers. Imma rock the hell out of these this summa! The ellies are especially calling my name.
KiniBands Siren Head Band, $13 – I’m not a big headband wearin’ chick, but this is definitely a nice once. The black and gold is a really nice combo, and because it’s made out of swimwear material, it won’t fade with sun, water, chlorine or oil. It’s handmade in the USA, too.
Raw Rev Glo Dark Chocolate Espresso Crunch, $3 This protein bar took me a bit by surprise because it has chunks of coffee beans in it – I was so skurred I was gonna get gacked, ’cause I’m suuuper sensitive to caffeine. I could not for the life of me find the caffeine content anywhere on the label. I did see that it has 10 grams of protein, 13 grams of fiber and only 5 grams of sugar, though.
Loving Naturals Clear Body Sunscreen,* $15 – Yay for vegan and cruelty-free sunscreen! I’m always on the lookout for new brands. This one is all-natural, sheer, non-greasy, water-resistant, and has SPF 30+.
Mala Bracelet,* – This is a pretty sweet bonus item (was not listed on the info card)! I love these types of bracelets that are intended to help balance chakras and realign energies. This is a simple yet eye-catching piece, and turquoise is supposed with heal and balance emotions as well as relieve sadness or grief.

Overall impression: As always, this box has insane value – $94 worth of goodies, woweeeee!! This box was a bigtime winner, and I’m especially excited about the mala bracelet, sunscreen, metallic tattoos, and Buddhibox hand towel!
I highly recommend giving BuddhiBox a try – quality mindful products, amazing value. It would make a great gift for a friend, loved one, or yourself! They also have a fantastic online shop if there’s a specific item you’ve got your eye on.
