Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box September 2016 Review
Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at $37) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
September’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda-Free Deodorant,* $14 – When I was preggo with babeh #2, my pits freaked the F out on baking soda deodoro. I had never had sensitive pits until then, and I broke out in some pretty gnarly looking rashes. This is when I made the switch to MMT’s baking soda-free formula, and it worked like a charm! If you have underarm sensitivity as well, I highly recommend this stuff. It’s made without baking soda and clay, and it has nourishing plant oils and butters that soothe and condition the skin. The citrusey grapefruit scent is super yummy, too!
Adorn Mineral & Organic Hydrating Cream Foundation, $4 – This organic cream foundation feels like heaven (seriously sooooo smooth and buttery) – I want to get the full size ASAP. It provides nice, natural looking coverage and it’s formulated to soften, soothe and hydrate the skin. It’s perfect for those with skin sensitivities, who prefer a more dewier complexion or have a drier, more mature skin. I think I’m especially excited about this because the “light-medium” shade is SO my jam (and you know how hard it can be to find a perfect skin match)!
Osea Ocean Cleanser,* $16 – I’ve been raving about this cleanser for years! This bad boy is rich in minerals, algae, dermal proteins, vitamins, and mineral salts – all natural ingredients, too! It has a subtle, delightfully sweet fragrance, and I LOVE how it effectively removes dirt and makeup, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and energized.
Odacite Serum Concentrate, $3 – Gah, you know me and beauty oils… they my bae. This hydrating blend is made with pomegranate oil, vitamin E oil, and rose oil and geranium oils. It’s designed to infuse moisture into your skin while balancing sebum production to control shine (and zits!). I can’t get over the beautiful rose scent, tho’… it kind of trumps all the fancy-schmancy skin healing properties. I just wanna rub it all over my whole body! 😉
* = PV faves
Overall impression: Lots of value in this month’s box – $37 for $15 (with free shipping, yee-haw!). Box faves included Osea’s facial cleanser and Meow Meow Tweet’s deodoro for sensitive pits. Everything in this box is a winner, though. I may even go as far to say this is in my top 5 Petit Vour beauty boxes evah! So much amazingness and #winning goin’ down in this pink & cutesy lil’ box.
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
