Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – March 2017
It’s Goddess Provisions unboxing time! If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. It especially speaks to my heart because it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… yes, I want all of that!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
March’s GP Box is “Mermaid Magic” themed, and it includes a mix of fun items to help you “be a goddess of the sea.”
March’s “Mermaid Magic” Goddess Provisions box includes:
Cottagewicks Goddess of the Sea Candle, $20 – I can’t even with this candle. It’s disgustingly amazing, ha. Seriously, I want to BE this candle. It’s made of soy wax, and it’s got cute lil’ bits of buried treasure such as shards of crystals, sea glass, shells, flower petals, and glittah (duh).
Sara M. Lyons Patch, $10 – Goddess Provisions pretty much kills it when it comes to adorable pins and patches… makes me want to go out and buy a vintage jean jacket. Gah, so flippin’ CUTE!
Moon Magic Mermaid Toner, $13 – This seriously beautiful smelling toner is blend of floral waters (orange blossom and rose). I mega dig the retro & classic packaging (and eco-friendly glass bottle, too). It’s intended to help hydrate normal to combo skin, and you can use it to help set your makeup as well.
Moon Magic Mermaid Ocean Mask, $9 – I haven’t given this clay mask a whirl yet but I’m excited to. It’s made with a blend of sea clay, organic jasmine, sea kelp, and oceanic minerals to cleanse and liven up the ol’ mug. I tried to get a whiff of the product without snorting it (hard to do!), and it smelled kind of sweet and happy. Again, love the glass packaging and cute label.
Red Abalone Shell + Sage Smudge Kit, $10 – I’ve always been a bit weird about having shells since they once belonged to critters, but I know the peeps at Goddess Provisions are legit, hardcore vegans, so I know these shells must have been naturally found and discarded. I digress… Over the past couple years I’ve become a full-blown smudger (negative energy haffa gwan). I’ve got the sprays, the sage, the whole setup, but I’ve never had such a pretty lil’ shell-y smudge kit before. I’m excited to display this beaut on my very special hippie shelf of new age-y ish (don’t act like you ain’t got one!).
Raw Revolution Spirulina Dream Bar, $3 – First of all, HOLLA – my kitteh’s name is Spirulina. ♥ I’m currently juice-cleaning (day 5 of 5!), so I haven’t tasted this yet, but it would actually be a wonderful post-cleanse snack because it’s healthy af. It’s loaded with superfoods and of course, spirulina, which is rich in vitamins and essential nutrients.
Ruby in Fuchsite, $6 – This stone is supposed to help you maintain an awareness of your individuality while also connecting you to humanity as a whole. It’s also supposed to enhance your psychic awareness. It kind of looks like candy, which I’m most excited about. 😉 Mother Nature really know how to woo my heart.
Overall impression: This month’s box was amaaaaazing as usual! I mean, c’mon, you can’t go wrong with a friggin’ mermaid box! EVERY single item was a hit. The total value of this box is $71 and faves included EVVVVERYTHING… but okay, I might be a bit overly excited about the mermaid treasure candle, iron-on patch, and shell + sage smudge kit. Wow, just, WOW.
What do you guys think of Goddess Provisions? If you love what you see, you can sign up here to start receiving this monthly box, too.
