Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box March 2017 Review
Happy happy Friday and happy Petit Vour unboxing day! It’s time to reveal the goodies from my lil’ hot pink beauty box! If you’re new to Petit Vour (ahem, how is this possible??), it’s a monthly subscription box that comes with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering February’s box is valued at $40) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
How cute is the flip side of PV’s product info card? I always save these.
March’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Metta Skincare Intensive Replenishing Face Balm, $12.50 – I’m gonna just say right off the bat, that March’s PV box is one of my favs. Sorry, if I wind up sounding too gushy about every single item, but DANG, everything was perfection – types of products I already use but all new-to-me items. If y’all saw what my face looks like when I hit the hay, you’d swear someone was about to fry tofu on it! I slather all sorts of beauty serums, oils, and balms on my delicate mug in hopes of deluging my skin with mega moisture so that I can age as gracefully as possible. This balm is packed with all the goodness – shea butter, jojoba, antiaging oils, and potent plant extracts. It also has a calm and relaxing lavender scent which is perfect right before beddies. Heads up – a little goes a long way. 🙂
Little Barn Apothecary Blue Yarrow + Geranium Cleansing Oil, $8 – I uses cleansing oils daily. It was only a few years ago that I got hooked on the oil cleansing method, and I now swear by it. As much as it seems counterintuitive, that ish works (even on acne-prone skin!). This stuff easily dissolves dirt and makeup (even stubborn waterproof mascara) while leaving your skin hella baby soft.
KANI Galaxy Milk Illuminating Beauty Oil, $16 – This stuff is pure f*cking magic. I have never used a highlighting oil before (at least, I don’t think I have), so I was a bit wary… dude, it’s bomb. It’s lightweight and ultra smooth, and the rose gold shimmer factor is stunning. Perfectly glow-y – not too subtle and not at all obnoxious, just gorg. It smells heavenly, too. I will definitely be purchasing a full size bottle of this. Yum.
Formulary 55 Rosehip & Clay Facial Mask, $8 – Ha, I’m pretty much drowning in clay masks at Camp Cuddlebear/VBR Headquartes (#hashtagblessed), but I’m a huge fan, especially with my affinity for DIY beauty. I have to admit, this is one of the fancier clay blends that I have – white and pink clay with rosehip, geranium, and comfrey – packaged in the luxe-iest of luxe gold-foil accented packets. Imma save this for a special spa treat-y evening (hopefully soon, ’cause mama NEEDS some TLC).
Overall impression: Lots of value in this box – $44.50 worth of goodies for $15 (with free shipping, yassss!). Box faves are… EVERYTHING! Ha, I know that’s annoying but I seriously couldn’t narrow it down. March’s PV beauty box was one of my all-time favs!
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
