Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – July 2017
It’s Goddess Provisions unboxing day! If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. I especially love that it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice.”
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
July’s GP Box theme was “Goddess on a Road Trip,” which literally arrived a week before I legit hit the road with my fam for vacay. ♥
July’s Goddess Provisions box included:
Calm-A-Mama Happy Drops, $17 – I’ve always heard about the healing power of floral essences (flower power, yo!), but I’ve honestly never had any experience with them before. I’m assuming they’re similar to herbs in how they work with your system, so I’m curious to see how my body responds. As a mama of two littles, calm-a-mama is seriously speaking to me… Stay tuned to see how this bottle of rose hydrosol with lemon balm and chamomile help tame the chaos in mah brain.
Sacred Wood Essence Palo Santo Stick and Oil, $20 – Palo Santo is my JAM. Even if you think burning this sacred wood to help cleanse and protect your aura and energy is a bit woowoo, there is absolutely no denying its heavenly, earthy, sexy scent. I adore that this palo santo stick is etched with cuteness, too. 🙂 I’m stoked to have a convenient, hassle-free oil to carry in my purse, luggage, car, etc. for a quick cleansing, grounding/rooty sesh.
Prim Botanicals Hair Oil, $11 – This multi-tasking hair oil (leave-in mask, hot oil treatment, heat protectant, frizz tamer) smells SO good!! It has a sweet vanilla + floral vibe which I lurrrve! I kind of just want to use this as a light perfume as body oil… mama def needs this on her split ends, too. Gonna use it for errthang!
Check out these yummy, squeaky clean, skin nourishing ingredients: Virgin Coconut Oil*, Camellia Oil*, Argan Oil*, Moringa Oil*, Evening Primrose Oil, Tamanu Oil, Marula Oil**, Black Cumin Seed Oil*, Proprietary Blend of: Lavender Essential Oil*, Rosemary Essential Oil*, Orange Bitter Essential Oil, Vanilla Oil *Organic **Wildcrafted
Spice Foods Dry Roasted Almonds in Argentinian Chimichurri, $5 – I’m a teensy embarrassed to confess that I ate this whole bag in one sitting. It has a ziplock closure, so I’m guessing I wasn’t supposed to do that, ha! Anyhoo, diggity DANG, these nuts are NUTS. They’re incredibly flavorful (dusted with exotic spices from Argentina), and they don’t skimp on the spice whatsoever. YUM!!
Purple Frog Car Air Freshener in Lemongrass, $3.50 – I have steered clear of car air fresheners for as long as I can remember because I know they’re chemically and toxic af. I’m not a fan of artificial scents to begin with, so mama got VERY excited to come across this all-natural, non-toxic, and hella cute one. It’s scented with lemongrass essential oil, and I love that you can just refresh it by adding your own essential oils whenever you like. This is a winner. 🙂
Goddess Provisions Raise Your Vibration Sticker, $6 – These stickers are always fun for adorning laptops, journals, etc. The message definitely resonates with me and it’s a nice lil’ reminder. Not sure where I’ll end of putting this or whether or not I’ll wind up gifting it, but I know it’ll find a sweet home soon.
Black Tourmaline, $6 – This root chakra stone is supposed to help protect against environmental pollutants. GP recommends taking it with you on your next adventure to help stay grounded, ward off negative energy, and psychic protection… annnnnd, it’s already on my dash, ha. Not sure if this comes through in the pic, but it has really pretty, light-colored sparkly bits, too. I likey.
Overall impression: This month’s Goddess Provisions theme was fun and unique one! GP always kills it, and literally EVERY single item was a hit. The total value of this box is $70+ and faves include the chimichurri almonds, palo santo duo, and hair oil (which I plan to use all over my whole body). SO much good stuff this month!
