Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – September 2017
Y’all ready to see the goodies in this month’s Goddess Provisions subby box? If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. I especially love that it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice.” Mhm, yasss, please!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
September’s GP Box theme was “Enchanted Forest,” which lights up my heart, because I friggin’ love the woods. One of my favorite past times is actually forest bathing. I live in Portland, after all… trees, trees, TREES!
September’s Goddess Provisions box included:
Laser Trees Wood Keychain, $7 – Lawd knows I need another key chain like a hole in the head, but this one is pretty cool. This nine-sided lotus, inspired by sacred geometry, is laser etched into wood from a cherry tree, which is known to enhance stability and focus (according to the Goddess Provisions info card). It’s pretty to look and I like its simplicity.
Trillium Organics Cedar Eucalyptus Body Polish, $12 – First off, this stuff smells incredibly woodsy – nailed it! It’s scented with cedar, balsam fir, rosemary, eucalyptus, and peppermint. It’s a unique scrubby scent, not your typical fruity or floral variety, which I appreciate. It’s made with fine crystalline salts, which are great for exfoliating without being too abrasive.
Wanderluxe Crescent Moon Wall Hanging, $15 – LOVE! Yay, another simple yet adorable, artsy wooden piece. It’s made with wood from a poplar tree, and it’s intended to help bring balance and abundance into your life. Now I just I need to find the perfect spot to hang this pretty thang.
Element Botanicals 12 Incense Cones in Wildwood, $8 – I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m ALL about palo santo everything right now. It’s like one of my top three scents. These little incense cones are made with all-natural palo santo and wild harvested pine resin, and they smell incredible. GP also nailed this one – smells like a legit heavenly forest.
Plantlife Eucalyptus Essential Oil, $12 – Eucalyptus oil is great for helping clear congestion and soothe sore muscles. You can add this to a diffuser, facial steam, DIY creams, etc. If you’re into essential oils, this is kind of a staple. It’s especially great for cold season which is just around the corner.
Good Vibes Pin by Brie McKay, $10 – Omg, a smudge pin – ADORBS! Seriously, all of these cute pins that have been popping up in subby boxes has gotten me inspired to buy a jean jacket, ha. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a jean jacket before… the time has come, my pin babies.
Blue Sage Smudge Bundle, $5 – This blue sage smudge is known as “grandmother sage” and is supposed to help clear negativity and refresh your sacred space with protective energy. Basically, if you need to get rid of some bad juju, this is your ish right here. Bad vibes haffa gwan!
Moss Agate, $4 – This is the stone of new beginnings and abundance according to the info card. This seriously couldn’t have arrived at a better time for me (personal sh*t, but trust me). It’s suggested that you place in your garden or inside a potted plant for good vibes. I just might do that. 🙂 It’s a trippy little rock to look at. I can’t tell if there’s actual “moss” or plant life in the rock, or if that’s just some natural, green swirly business that formed inside of it. Does anyone know? Haha, I guess I could google that. 😉
Overall impression: This month’s Goddess Provisions theme was right up my alley; I really do worship the woods. GP consistently kills it, and I genuinely appreciate all the items this month. The total value of this box is $73 and faves include the woodsy cone incense, wooden moon wall hanging, and adorable sage stick pin. SO much good stuff this month!
