Y’all ready to see the sweet ish that was included in September’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box? You can also peep my past Vegan Cuts Beauty Box reviews here.
September’s beauty box had a “Primp and Pamper” theme, and all the items had a total value of $58!
September’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included:
Everyday Botanicals Natural and Curly Hair Nourishment Oil, $4.50 – I’m super particular about hair products (I only wash my hair 2-3 times a month), and I don’t have curly hair which this product is intended for, but I do have hella split ends. I tried using a bit of this on the frazzled bits of my crusty mane, and it did help smooth everything out. For people who are curious about its scent, it has an earthy, floral essential oil vibe.
Gaffer and Child Facial Cleanser,* $26 – Whoa, this is a spensy little bottle of face wash, but the ingredients are 100% up my alley: distilled spring water, organic sunflower oil, organic coconut oil, organic castor oil, organic olive oil, organic jojoba oil, green tea extract, willow bark extract, chamomile hydrosol, organic lavender essential oil, organic lavender hydrosol, lemon essential oil, and organic peppermint essential oil.
It has a beautiful lavender-y scent and it’s light and feels lovely on the skin – even though it’s oil-based, it dissolves beautifully and effortlessly with water.
Derma E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub,* $5 – I’ve been a fan of this detox mask for awhile now. It’s made with natural clays infused with Kimarine Wakame (seaweed), Bladerwrack (again, seaweed), and Activated Charcoal (superstar ingredient that’s taking the beauty world by storm). It’s great for de-gunking pores, and you can almost feel it lifting the dirt and toxins out of your skin while you wear it. This is especially great for oily skin but it’s also safe for sensitive skin (it has minimal ingredients, no fragrance – yay- and is allergy-tested). I’m kind of obsessed with this mask.
Hempz Triple Moisture Herbal Whipped Body Crème, $7.50 – While I like the refreshing scent of this lotion, it does has a Bath & Body Works vibe… pretty, but artificial smelling (it contains “fragrance” vs. essential oils which I prefer). I’m a little thrown off by the light blue hue as well; it reminds me of toothpaste color. I give it props for being enriched with natural hemp seed oil, tho’. Hemp seed oil is one of my all-time fave beauty oils. It truly does work wonders for the skin (and can be applied straight up, even 😉 ).
Terre Mere Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Lychee,* $15 – This all-natural, loose mineral powder is intended to be a blush, but I love these types of delicate shades for my eye lids, too. The shade Lychee is a shimmery baby pink, and it has a silky smooth texture and is easy to apply.

Overall impression: Everything together is valued at $58, which is pretty rad! I also really like the mix of skin care, hair care, and makeup this month. Box faves: Terre Mere blush/shadow, Derma e Detox Scrub, and Gaffer & Child facial cleanser. Aside from the lotion, I’m pretty sure I’ll be using all the items in this box.
