Vegan Business Ideas You Could Start Today

August 3, 2021By

Going vegan is an activist way to live your life. You’re going against social convention and following your conscience.

But the vegan way of life isn’t just something you have to do on a personal level. It’s also something you can share with the rest of the world. After all, people are crying out for what veganism offers:

  • Healthier food
  • Less cruelty to animals
  • Less damage to the environment
  • More beautiful bodies
  • Happier minds

Given this extensive and all-encompassing list of benefits, vegan entrepreneurial opportunities abound. Here are so ideas for what you could sell:

Vegan food trucks are incredibly popular because they are so accessible. Most trucks just set up in a car park or layby and then people drive out to them when they want to get out of the house and avoid queuing in traffic at the same time.

Ideally, your food truck should have a theme – perhaps Moroccon vegan food. Or maybe you could compete with a rival fast food van to see who can become the most popular over time.

Vegan Blogger

It’s not exactly the most original idea in the world, but because veganism is becoming so much more popular, becoming a vegan blogger is a great way to earn a side income for yourself. People are desperate for bloggers who can explain the vegan lifestyle, demonstrate its benefits and show them how to make delicious meals. Vegan bloggers can even talk about animal or environmental issues.

If you set up an online business, it’s a good idea to also get a physical address. You don’t have to rent premises. You just need a PO box where people can send correspondence without all of it arriving at your home address.

Parents are desperate for vegan baby food options for their kids. They want healthy nutritious meals that offer everything that they need, but without any animal foods included in the recipe.

The great thing about this idea is that you don’t actually need to invest in a shop front. If you can find a manufacturer willing to produce your recipe for you, you don’t even need to invest in any plant and equipment. You just do the marketing side of the equation and let the manufacturers and distributors do the rest, skimming any profits off the top.

Dairy Alternatives Brand

People love milk and cheese. However, these foods are notoriously difficult to make vegan. Soy milk and cheese are classic alternatives. But they don’t quite live up to people’s expectations. They want something that tastes just as good as the real thing.

Currently, the market is wide open for companies that can innovate successfully. If you have an idea for a great product, start working on how to actually produce it today. If it tastes really good, then it could become the next Alpro or Oatley. There is a gigantic market for brands like these today.

If you’re interested in setting up a vegan business, then go for it. It’s a great way to improve your lifestyle and work towards a better world.
