Love Goodly October/November 2015 Review + Coupon Code
Man, it’s a GOOD time to be vegan… when I first went vegan 15 years ago (calm down, I’m old) my whole world basically revolved around french fries and salads—and don’t even get me started on beauty products and clothes… Nowadays, we’ve got 8,342 different kinds of vegan cheese to choose from, vegan CRAB CAKES and caviar, vegan fashion galore, too-many-to-count kickass animal-friendly beauty lines, and a ton of vegan subscription boxes – life is sofa king GOOD!
One of my fave eco & vegan-friendly beauty & lifestyle boxes is LOVE GOODLY. It’s beautifully curated with fancy, high quality goodies, and they have the fleekiest of fleek packaging. ♥
The deets: It’s $39.95 bi-monthly (every other month) with price breaks for longer subscriptions. LOVE GOODLY delivers 5-7 cruelty-free, natural, vegan products, including a mix of full size products and deluxe samples of non-toxic beauty and skincare, healthy snacks, and eco style accessories. Icing on the cake → each purchase supports a cause including Farm Sanctuary and F*ck Cancer.
The October/November Love Goodly Box includes 5 items, all of which are full size!
Go Raw Choco Crunch Sprouted Cookies, $4.79 – Mama need more guiltless sweet treats likes these. I’ve literally been binging on my son’s Halloween candy (shhh, he doesn’t know), and I feel so grody to the max! I always have a sweet tooth, and having all-natural, healthy options in my house is a must. The Choco Crunch cookies only have 4 simple organic ingredients: coconut, sprouted sesame seeds, dates, and raw cacao. Dylan (my 3-year-old) and I went to town on these. Just a heads up – they are super healthy tasting, but after you eat about 4 or 5, they start to become addictive.
Fountain The Super Green Molecule, $28 – I love everything about this! It’s a beauty and wellness supplement made with alfalfa chlorophyll, kelp, and a hyaluronic acid matrix that you mix with your favorite beverage. Unfortunately (or rather fortunately), I’m still makin’ mama milkies for my littlest little so I’ll have to hold off on this until I’m finished breastfeeding (as advised on the packaging) . I’m SUPER excited to try this out soon, though!
Crystal Essence Pomegranate Deodorant Roll-On, $4.75 – This is my first time trying a pomegranate scented deodoro, and it’s a welcome fruity change. I’ve been using pit paste for the past year, so switching things up to a roll-on is nice and convenient, too. This deodorant is antioxidant-rich, chemical-free, and super duper pure. It’s even endorsed by cancer treatment centers.
KINDri Organic Beauty Oil, $16 – I feel like a broken records when I talk about beauty oils on VBR. BUY THEM. USE THEM. THEY ARE THE SH*T. That’s all! This beauty oil, which can be used on your face and hair, is super lightweight and quick-absorbing without greasy residue. It’s made with certified organic argan, carrot, pumpkin, grapeseed, sunflower, sweet almond and grapefruit oils. It feels and smells delicious on the skin!
Dogeared Make A Wish Bracelet, $26 – I’m torn between the concept of these types of bracelets. I love the whole ‘make a wish, wear it until it falls off, wish comes true’ idea and all, but what if you want to wear it long term? This red linen string bracelet with a sterling silver heart charm is so cute and minimalist… I would be hella bummed if it fell off after only a couple weeks. The struggle! 😉
Also included but not pictured is a yummy and healthy recipe for rice pudding from Forks Over Knives (on the back of LOVE GOODLY’s info card).
Overall impression: This box is valued over $80 (DANG!). Opening it felt like Christmas, and I adore everything inside – all new-to-me brands and products. I’m especially in love with the KINDri beauty oil and Dogeared bracelet. ♥
