DIY Uplifting Essential Oil Room Spray
Let’s talk smellies, the household cover-up kind. Did you know that most conventional are fresheners are chock full of potentially harmful ingredients? A recent University of Washington study found that eight unnamed, widely used U.S. air fresheners released an average of 18 chemicals into the air. Um, I think I’ll pass.
Just because I’m passing on the grodacious store-bought home sprays, it doesn’t mean I don’t want my phat pad to smell dope as hell.
Solution: Essential oils and vodka! Seriously.
Peep this insanely easy-peasy DIY room spray and bask in the glory of home, sweet-smelling, home.
DIY Uplifting Essential Oil Room Spray
- 4 tbsp vodka
- 4 tbsp distilled water
- 20 drops of sweet orange essential oil
- 20 drops of peppermint essential oil
Pour ingredients into a spray bottle and shake super duper well (and do so before each use, too). Feel free to make a few bottles and leave them throughout the house and in your car. This makes a great hostess gift, too! 🙂
