M’kay, let’s dive in to this bad boy!
LaRitzy’s March 2016 Vegan Beauty Box included:
Juice Beauty Green Apple Nutrient Eye Cream, $38 – Dang, this is a spensy bottle of eye cream, but Juice Beauty has consistently proven to have effective products with super pure ingredients. I’m such a sucker for anti-aging beauty products, so the fact that this eye cream has a potent blend of peptides, DMAE, CoQ10, and black tea makes my 30-something, fine-lined face smile (but not too much, because smile wrinks are a thang, too). 😉 It’s too soon to see results, but imma use this every day until it’s gone, that’s for sure.
Deco Miami Nail Lacquer in Feeling Fuego (a variety of shades were mailed out to subscribers),* $9.50 – OK, stahp with the cuteness! Seriously, I can’t take it. Whoever designed this nail polish needs to come decorate mah house! 😉 Sweet packaging aside, Feeling Fuego, which is sort of a salmon-y, pink-y orange, is such a happy, uplifting, spring-y shade. I will most definitely be rocking this for an upcoming Mani Monday feature. Deco Miami is a South Beach-based nail polish line, and all of their shades are 8-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the USA.
Modern Minerals Infused Eyeshadow Sphere in Winter White (a variety of shades were mailed out to subscribers), $16 – I have to say, this is my first eyeshadow sphere evah. The packaging is so unique, sleek, and futuristic looking. This shadow is formulated with all-natural ingredients that are infused with rose petal, honeysuckle, and vitamin E. Although this shade is called Winter White, it had more of a shimmery tan vibe goin’ on (swatched on thumb below). Regardless, it’s a pretty, subtle shade that’ll work well as a highlighter. Can’t wait to fully rock this on my eyes.
Lippy Girl Extra Virgin Lip Gloss,* $11 – I adore this lip gloss! It has a light coconutty citrus scent, and it feels dreamy on my lips – smooth and moisturizing, not tacky at all. It’s made with nourishing and organic plant butters, waxes, and essential oils.
*my fave items from this month’s box
Overall impression: LaRitzy is definitely consistent with exceeding my expectations. The value of this box is ~$75 which is insane considering LaRitzy is only $25 and that includes free shipping! Such a crazy-good deal! My faves of the bunch include the nail polish and lip gloss, but I pretty much love and will use everything in this month’s box. As always, it was a nice variety of items – skincare, makeup, nail polish, and I had fun discovering a brand new healthy and vegan, new-to-me beauty brand, Deco Miami (love seeing so many familiar brands, too).
