Award-Winning Green Beauty Staples from MuLondon
I’ve been vegan beauty bloggin’ for over a decade now, and there are some brands that have an über special place in my heart because I’ve had lasting relationships (like, many yeeeeears) with the owners and their amazing products. MuLondon, and Boris, the wizard concocter of luxe, animal-friendly beauty goods, def fits this category. MuLondon products are made with potent, all-natural, certified organic ingredients, and they are certified cruelty-free by The Leaping Bunny and registered vegan by The Vegan Society. MuLondon is also a member of 1% For The Planet and is a Certified B Corporation. The feels, yo. This is a rad company doing rad things for you (us) and the planet.
MuLondon Skincare Faves:
Rose, Rosehip & Rosemary Foaming Cleanser, $22 – This certified organic foaming cleanser is highly concentrated (like, f’reals, you can use sparingly) and is made with rose otto oil, rosehip extract, and rosemary. As you can imagine, it smells ridiculous (as in roses up the yin yang), and it’s intended to clean, balance and nourish dry and sensitive skin. The ingredients are squeaky clean, which means you won’t find any SLSs or detergents in this bad boy. It gently cleans without stripping the skin of its natural oils. You can also use this to shave, btw.
Ingredients: Water, Sunflower Oil Soap**, Coconut Oil Soap**, Glycerin**, Jojoba Oil*, Rose Otto Essential Oil*, Rosehip Extract*, Rosemary Extract*, Sunflower Oil*, Potassium Salt, Citric Acid (*Certified Organic, **Organic Origin)
Rose, Rosehip & Rosemary Moisturiser, $34 – This organic moisturizer, featuring rose otto oil, rosehip extract and rosemary antioxidant, is also hella concentrated (a little goes a looooonnnng way, money-saving yasssness!). It’s gorgeous-smelling and intensely moisturizing, made with a base of shea butter, coconut butter, and jojoba oil – perfect for balancing and nourishing dry, irritated skin (a winter MUST). I like to apply this right after a nice, relaxing bath. Again, you onlyneed a teensy bit, and you can apply it errwhere.
Ingredients: Shea Butter*, Coconut Butter*, Jojoba Oil*, Rose Otto Essential Oil*, Rosehip Extract*, Rosemary Extract*, Sunflower Oil* (*Certified Organic)
White Chocolate Truffle Moisturiser, $28 – Ok, y’all, this legit smells like chocolate, no joke. I’ve actually been using this moisturizer for years, and it always makes me hungry, lol. It contains organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and yummy smelling extracts of cocoa and pure vanilla – my absolute fave! It’s such a treat, for your bod and your schnoz!
Ingredients: Shea Butter*, Coconut Butter*, Jojoba Oil*, Tahitian Vanilla Extract, Cocoa Extract, Rosemary Extract*, Sunflower Oil* (*Certified Organic)
